On February 11, 2012 the Freedom’s Foundation at Valley forge Orange County Chapter presented the George Washington Honor Award Medal to Saddleback College Veterans Memorial at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo.
The honorable Nancy Padberg gave the invocation and Francisca Kloa was the vocalist with Greg Smith on Piano.
The Marine Air Logistics Squadron #39, Color Guard, Camp Pendelton presented the colors.
Introductions were made by Lane Curtis and Dr. Tod A. Burnett and Joyce Van Schaack introduced distinguished guest and spoke at the event along with The Honorable Diane Harkey, Assemblywoman 73rd AD.
The presentation were made by Lane Curtis and Todd Burnett received the George Washing Honor Award Medal for all those involved in the Saddleback College Veterans Memorial.
Many were honored at the event.
